About commisioning work:
For custom furniture and wooden objects, I can provide the following:
Free verbal “estimate” at my shop. Please know that estimates can wildly fluctuate and are primarily used to give “ballpark” or order of magnitude idea of
price range.

Written proposals.
Because these take time, there is a fee which you are imformed of up front. These proposals are fixed price with respect to labor cost. Materials cost can vary due to the unstable lumber market and yield of certain species.

Design drawings.
There is also a fee for these based on time. Please feel free to supply your own design drawings.

Waiting List:
Most custom woodworkers have a waiting list and I am no exception. Typically my waiting list can be about 6 months, though sometimes I am able to complete simple jobs in a short period (one week).

Appointments:
Presently, I am a one person business which necessitates a strict policy of consultation by appointment only. Regretably, ?walk-ins? are not welcome.
